| Jiangsu Mayors Training The Jiangsu provincial government has been collaborating with APA to develop an ambitious and comprehensive training effort to bring all party secretaries (equivalent to U.S. City Council chairman), mayors, and deputy mayors in the province to the U.S. for the APA Chinese Mayors Training Program. Jiangsu Province is a fast-developing province immediately adjacent to Shanghai. The province had sustained double-digit economic growth for many years and is currently under tremendous urbanization pressure.
