This course is for builders, contractors, developers, site superintendents, E&SC inspectors, regulatory enforcement inspectors, design professional preparing ES&PC plans and plan reviewers. Learn how to stay in compliance with the NPDES permits for construction activities and the Georgia Erosion and Sedimentation Act and minimize your or your clients’ financial liabilities.

This course has been approved by the Georgia Soil and Water Commission for level 1A, 1B and Level II re-certification.

Course elements include:

- Summary of the NPDES Permit requirements for construction sites and “foreclosed or abandoned” properties.

- Inspection, compliance and enforcement requirements of the NPDES G General Permits and the Georgia Erosion and Sedimentation Act.

- Legal Perspective from environmental attorneys including: consequences of non-compliance, examples of the “perfect” complainant, and preparation to address complaints and violations.
