Randall Parker has provided over 100 traffic impact studies over the last 10 years. Many of these have been for large, mixed-use developments of regional impact requiring extensive trip generation analyses with extensive internal capture and bypass/diverted trips calculations requiring capacity analyses of up to 40 intersections for a site. Some of these traffic studies have required collection and analyses of additional trip generation data to provide for changes in land use characteristics or local applications. He is a Georgia PE, a PTOE, and an AICP and is currently assisting with the review of the 9th Edition Trip Generation ITE Informational Report revisions. He chaired the Georgia ITE review committee of revisions to the state DOT access manual and has participated on the MPO’s Regional Access Management Technical Advisory Committee. He researched strategies to improve goods movements in the Atlanta area and coauthored n ITE Journal article about the study of truck movements. He has extensive experience in providing traffic signal warrant, roundabout feasibility, parking, access, and corridor studies and has participated in signal timing revisions and equipment upgrade projects.
