Focus North Texas 3 Planning Symposium

APA Texas Chapter, North Central SectionGarland, TX

An educational packed one-day symposium designed for planners, planning commission members and AICP-candidates alike. The symposium will be spotlighting the newest trends in planning and implementation that are successful in today's economy, with a focus on the North Texas region. Prominent planners, lawyers, developers and engineers are among the prestigious group of speakers, providing sessions which cover new urbanism, smart growth, best practices in regional planning, communications skills, ethics, planning law and more. Included in the admission price will be a wonderful lunch featuring a prominent keynote speaker, choice of four sessions (most will afford CM credits) and a separate short course for planning commissioners that meets the State requirements. City officials (mayors and planning & zoning commissioners) may earn Texas Municipal League Institute (TMLI) credits for attending these workshops. CEU forms will be available on site.
