Scholarships do not include mobile workshops offered for an additional fee, travel, or accommodations. Any costs to attend the conference beyond the basic registration fee are the member's responsibility. 2009 Kansas APA Conference Sponsorship OpportunitiesDeadline: October 15, 2009 About the Conference The Kansas Planning Conference, hosted by the Kansas Chapter of the American Planning Association, is the annual gathering of professional planners and planning officials in the state. The 2009 conference takes place from November 4 through 6 at the Hotel at Old Town in Wichita. A diverse group of over 100, including professional planners, planning officials, lawyers, architects, and economic development professionals is expected to attend. The conference is also marketed to prospective attendees from Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Colorado, providing our sponsors, advertisers, and exhibitors with even more marketing exposure! Sponsorships Conference sponsorships are recognized in the Conference Program and in conference marketing materials. Sponsorship levels include complimentary conference registration, free or discounted advertising, and exhibit space. When you also choose to sponsor a special event or refreshment break, your company name will be prominently displayed. Gold-level sponsors will have the opportunity to address all conference attendees by welcoming everyone to one of the two luncheons. All sponsors will be recognized in the Chapter newsletter following the conference, increasing the visibility of your organization. Exhibit Areas Exhibits are located in a high traffic area to increase attendee visits with exhibitors. Exhibitor names are listed in the Conference Program.
