APA heads south to New Orleans in 2010 as we continue a two-year journey from the headwaters of the Mississippi River to the delta.
In 2009, planners began a journey in Minneapolis at the headwaters of the Mississippi, where we celebrated the centennial of the planning movement at the National Planning Conference. In 2010, we travel downriver to New Orleans where the conference will focus on the region's recovery from the 2005 hurricanes and its continuing vulnerability.
