The City of Pearland proposes to retain the services of a qualified consultant firm or a collaborative team that demonstrates understanding of state of the art planning concepts, with sustainable approaches to development. The selected consultant/team should also demonstrate the ability to develop an inclusive, participatory process that includes an extensive and effective public outreach component and results in a Comprehensive Plan that garners buy-in from all municipality stake holders. The consultant/firm should demonstrate the ability to work interactively with the elected and appointed officials, staff, citizens, corporate community, and other stake holders.
