As the MPO for the tri‐county region of Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties AMBAG is charged with developing a SCS for inclusion in the 2014 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). AMBAG has issued this RFP in an amount not to exceed $400,000‐ $425,000 for SCS planning work that includes three major tasks including the development of land use and transportation alternatives leading to the selection of a preferred SCS scenario. Additionally, the development and implementation of an innovative public participation plan in support of the development of the SCS is included.
