While Prince William County has a variety of land use planning tools targeted towards rural preservation, the County’s rural preservation policies have not been comprehensively evaluated to ensure that they are meeting stated objectives and that they represent the most effective tools available. Consultant services are necessary to evaluate existing policies, identify new policies, goals, and objectives for consideration, and make recommendations regarding implementation.
