APA and the Economic Development Administration have partnered to provide content on a variety of economic development topics, including best practices, regional cooperation, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
This is an online series devoted to economic development strategies and methods that APA released monthly and concluded in September 2009.
Each part of the series serves as a practical guide for community leaders planning for economic development. This series was developed through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA).
As part of this joint effort, APA offered critical and timely economic development tools and techniques. In addition, APA highlighted discussions among leaders and practitioners through a variety of outlets including a monthly e-newsletter, a quarterly feature story, and several web broadcasts.
