APA Participates in Source Water CollaborativeAPA, the Environmental Protection Agency, and 12 organizations that include state agencies, water utilities, and environmental groups, are working together in an effort to protect the quality of our nation's drinking water. These groups have combined to form the "Source Water Collaborative," a group designed to pool information resources and to develop and disseminate recommendations on ways to protect source water to key land-use decision makers. On February 17, 2006, the group met to sign a vision statement, which includes the Source Water Collaborative's mission, goal, and objectives. Members who signed the document included EPA Assistant Administrator Ben Grumbles and APA Policy Director Jeff Soule, FAICP. | ||
