|Job Level||Mid II (4-8 years)|
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
o Project management or project management assistance including budgeting, scheduling, directing subordinates, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
o Prepare and present proposals to potential clients or assist with their development
o Prepare technical documents, presentations and other related planning products
o Execute planning activities for a diverse clientele including
o Meet with clients and their representatives as an individual or part of a team to explain details, resolve issues, answer questions and maintain good relations
o Market the firm and services
o Able to travel for projects
o Education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related field.
o AICP certification preferred
o The ability to travel to project sites is required
o Experience in community- and/or military- related planning
o 5 plus years of experience working for a private consulting firm with a focus on zoning and long range planning
o Knowledge of land use planning
o Knowledge and/or experience with general planning, redevelopment planning, community facilitation, military facilities planning, and military programming
o Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills
