The Grants and Compliance Specialist evaluates, prepares reports, and advises public and private sector administrators on feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and/or regulatory conformance of projects and programs funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP2) grant from the U.S Department of Housing & Urban Development. Responsible for monitoring projects and programs assisted by the City using federal grant funds, including compliance with Federal and local government requirements.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred, from an accredited college or university in Urban Planning, Urban Policy, Non-Profit Management or related degrees. Two years of experience of grants management, program/project development and/or management, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. Interested applicants must also possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record with the ability to use their own personal vehicle.
