This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the web-based Capital Program and Project Controls computerized management information system (i.e., eBuilder). Coordination and validation of the input data for each capital project. Management of the program management system to ensure integrity of the data and monitor the status of all commitments, expenditures, and funding for capital projects in Capital Program. Direct the preparation of reports on the status of the Capital Program and develop routine and specialized reports to provide information to College/Department and financial staff on the schedule and financial status of capital projects. Coordinate the development of cash flow projections impacting financial investments, strategic planning and management and use of funds.
Coordinate the process for the preparation and timely distribution of standard reports. Develop, analyzes, and manage the reporting on performance metrics. Develop routine and specialized reports to provide information to Division and College/department including performance metrics with respect to project delivery and strategic goals. Forecast project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures and completion reports. Coordinate the development of metrics impacting financial investments, strategic planning, management and use of funds. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of a program controls system to track and report budget, cost and schedule information.
Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering or other related field required. Experience in Related Field: 7-10 years of professional experience in design/construction with direct experience in the management of complex program/projects with direct responsibility of program and project controls including budget development . Demonstrated increased responsibility in program/project controls area. Unique Expertise: Working knowledge of project scheduling and cost control software such as eBuilder; office automation software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint); experience with database report writers and understanding of relational databases and SQL helpful.
