Here is your chance to work for Planning magazine, issued monthly by the American Planning Association. APA is seeking an Assistant Editor to learn magazine publishing from the ground up. Tasks include writing, editing, proofreading, and administrative support for APA's Publications Department.
Candidates should have excellent writing and editing skills, must be proficient in Word and Excel, and must be strict about deadlines. The Assistant Editor must have at least two years' experience as a professional writer, reporter, or editor. An undergraduate or graduate degree in journalism is strongly preferred; a planning degree is a plus.
