Deadline: April 1 and November 1, annually

Carolina Planning, a student-run publication of the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, is accepting proposals for articles on topics of interest to city and regional planning professionals.

Your articles in Carolina Planning will reach public planning offices in North Carolina, DCRP alumni across the United States, NCAPA members, and libraries serving the country's top planning faculties.

Carolina Planning features articles written by professionals, faculty, and students in planning and planning-related fields. Past issues have covered the following topics:

• Land Use
• Housing
• Economic Development
• Environmental Planning
• Community Development
• Historic Preservation Planning Coastal Zone Planning
• Participatory Planning
• Transportation
• Hazard Mitigation
• State, Regional, or Local Planning
• Planning Law

Also:

• News about innovative programs and projects
• Case studies, publication and website reviews, interviews, and viewpoints

We are looking for short, medium, and longer articles. Photos and graphics welcome. Prospective authors should contact the editors at carolinaplanning@yahoo.com to discuss article ideas and for additional details on article submission.

Deadlines are November 1 for fall issues and April 1 for spring issues.
