Table 2q shows how 95 respondents who have worked, or currently work, in the Mid-Atlantic coastal region rated their personal proficiency in the use of geospatial technology. Nearly 99% of respondents have at least an introductory level of proficiency; nearly 79% have at least an intermediate level of proficiency. However, only 6% of respondents consider themselves to be geospatial technology experts.

Nearly 94% responded that their organizations use geospatial technology at least occasionally; nearly 76% indicated at least frequent use by their organizations. Just 1% of respondents report their organizations never use geospatial technology.
