Table 2u shows how 223 respondents who have worked, or currently work, in the West Coast coastal region rated their personal proficiency in the use of geospatial technology. Nearly 97% of respondents have at least an introductory level of proficiency; nearly two-thirds (64.6%) have at least an intermediate level of proficiency. However, less than 6% of respondents consider themselves to be geospatial technology experts.

More than 88% responded that their organizations use geospatial technology at least occasionally; nearly 70% responded at least frequent use by their organizations. Less than 2% of respondents report their organizations never use geospatial technology.
