Table 8k shows how 95 respondents from the Mid-Atlantic coastal region rated the ease with which they communicate coastal or marine planning information to users of their planning practice, analysis, and research. Less than 16% responded that communicating coastal or marine planning information is very or somewhat easy, while nearly 35% responded that communicating coastal or marine planning information is very or somewhat difficult. Nearly 12% of respondents apparently do not communicate coastal or marine planning information to users, as indicated by their "Not Applicable" response.

Because other questions in this series allowed multiple responses, it is not possible to produce valid regional cross-tabulations for them.
