THOMAS
THOMAS is a service of the Library of Congress. It is the most comprehensive
congressional information site on the web. Users can get up-to-date information
on all bills and resolutions introduced in Congress, including bill text, abstracts,
and legislative status. THOMAS users can also access the Congressional Record.
Information is provided for past years in addition to current information.
U.S. House of Representatives
The House website provides links to all member websites and all congressional
committee websites. Users can also get the latest floor schedule and regularly
updated information on floor activity. The site provides a feature where users
can locate their representative by zip code.
U.S. Senate
The Senate site offers the same features as the House site described above.
General Accounting Office
GAO reports are available in PDF format at this site. Users can also sign up
for e-mail notification of new reports on topics of interest.
Congressional Budget Office
C-SPAN
Live audio and Internet video feeds of Congress and all C-SPAN channels are
available free via this site.
Judiciary
U.S. Supreme Court
Supreme Court website provides docket information, opinions in downloadable
PDF format, and the court calendar.
Federal Judiciary
This overview site is mainly useful for the wide array of links provided to

This site allows users to search the laws of the United States by keyword, as
well as by number and section.
Findlaw
Findlaw is a useful legal information site for lawyers and the general public
alike. Searchable databases provide access to legal code, briefs, decisions
and other websites.

The White House website provides access to press releases, administration statements,
and texts of speeches. The site also offers links to federal agencies and information
on the First Family.
