Role of GHG Inventory in the Energy Future Project in Boulder, Colorado

Scientists have been working to develop greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories in different scales, and municipalities and states across the nation have examined these technical reports. Yet the effectiveness of such reports in changing policy decisions is not yet clear. This poster will analyze the role of a GHG inventory in setting the agenda for the “Energy Future Project” in Boulder, Colorado. Examine how Boulder’s GHG inventory played a significant role in identifying local greenhouse-gas issues and providing benchmarks for addressing them.
