Busting Silos through Metropolitan Planning

Bio: Lisa is currently the Manager of Local Planning Assistance at the Metropolitan Council. Local Planning Assistance is responsible for the implementation of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act and the Council's regional plan through reviews of local comprehensive plans, plan amendments, and environmental reviews. Local Planning Assistance coordinates an interdivisional team at the Council on those reviews, and also works directly with local planning staff as a technical resource in implementing regional policy at the local level. Prior to joining the Council, she worked as a planning consultant both in rural Minnesota and at a transportation and planning firm.
