Bio: Mr. Raymundo is co–founder and CEO of The Resurrection Project (TRP), a comprehensive and holistic community development Institution. Since its inception, TRP has leveraged more than $250 million in community reinvestment to serve more than 10,000 individuals, create 550 affordable homes, and develop more than 150,000 square feet of space to meet a variety of community needs including a charter high school and family day centers. Under his direction TRP has become a pillar of community development in the Chicago metropolitan region. Through his leadership TRP has been able to seamlessly blend community development, community organizing, human service delivery, and advocacy to build vibrant, healthier and involved communities. In addition to his work at TRP, Mr. Raymundo is very active in Chicago’s civic community. In 2009, Cardinal Francis George appointed Mr. Raymundo to the Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic School Board, and in 2007 Mayor Richard M. Daley appointed him to the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. Mr. Raymundo also serves as a Director on several civic boards including the Executive Council of Chicago Metropolis 2020, WBEZ 91.5 FM Public Radio, St. Anthony Hospital Ministry Board, Ounce of Prevention Fund, Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy Charter High School, St. Pius V. Finance Council and the Illinois Coalition for Refugees and Immigrant Rights. At the national level, Mr. Raymundo is the Board Chairman for the National Association of Latino Asset Builders (NALCAB).
