Engaging community members in planning efforts can be a costly proposition. Traditional “face-to-face” events are already expensive per participant, and, as workshop audiences continue to decline, they will become even more so. Find out how to use a growing array of digital tools to engage citizens in the transportation-planning process. This session will spotlight two projects that used online technology in innovative ways to interact with (and gain feedback from) facility users in a cost-effective manner.
