Bio: Adam Ruder is a project manager in NYSERDA’s Transportation group, focusing on NYSERDA’s transportation program planning and implementation programs. In his four years at NYSERDA, Mr. Ruder has managed over 100 projects to deploy alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure in public and private fleets and reduce emissions from vehicles already on the road. His current focus is on electric vehicle infrastructure deployment across the state, in support of Gov. Cuomo's Charge NY initiative. Mr. Ruder is the principal investigator on a $1 million Department of Energy Electric Vehicle Readiness grant to develop best practices for EV deployment in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Ruder has also participated in NYSERDA’s efforts on policy development and program planning, including multi-stakeholder efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector.
Education: Mr. Ruder received a Master in Public Policy degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Haverford College.

Bio: Z. Andrew Farkas is Director, National Transportation Center (USDOT University Transportation Center)and Professor, Department of Transportation and Urban Infrastructure Studies, Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. He manages a transportation research, education and technology transfer center and conducts research on transportation systems. He was appointed by Governor Martin O'Malley to the Maryland Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Council in 2011.

Bio: Nick is the Senior Manager of Transportation Initiatives at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), where he reports to the Vice President for Technology and Innovation. He contributes to C2ES strategy on saving oil and reducing greenhouse gases from the transportation sector. Since joining C2ES in 2010, he has authored whitepapers on electric vehicles, federal transportation legislation, and ridesharing, managed a comprehensive report on reducing greenhouse gas emissions from U.S. transportation, and spearheaded a multi-year initiative on accelerating nationwide electric vehicle deployment. He has served on advisory panels for reports by Indiana University and the Commission on Environmental Cooperation. He is also a frequent public speaker and contributor to C2ES's Climate Compass Blog. Before C2ES, Nick spent six years as an engineer and manager in the high tech industry at Oasis Semiconductor in Waltham, Massachusetts. He was a strategic part of Oasis, helping it grow from 15 to almost 100 employees in under four years. He led projects with the largest impact on company revenue and developed a reputation for successful and timely client delivery.
