Street Safety Action Plan

The Missoula Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is seeking a multi-disciplinary team to support MPO and MDT Staff with implementing the Reserve Street Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Supplemental Planning Grant award. The successful grant award is to develop a Safety Action Plan for Reserve Street from Hwy 93 at Brooks Street to I-90. Aspects of the proposed planning process include analyzing existing conditions of the corridor, engaging the public and stakeholders, developing and evaluating alternatives, identifying and prioritizing a set of strategies to address priority safety problems, and develop an implementation action plan.

The consultant team selected for this corridor plan will be expected to collaborate on technical analysis and planning efforts with the MPO. The consultant team will also need to utilize existing plans and documents that may affect the corridor including, but not limited to: Missoula's Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), Missoula Connect 2050; the 2019 Community Transportation Safety Plan (CTSP); Our Missoula Growth Policy; Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Master Plans; and the Missoula Active Transportation Plan (ATP).
