1. You Can Take the Exam Earlier
Join the program and sit for the AICP Certification Exam after you graduate, when you’re still in the test-taking mindset. If you’re a recent graduate or graduating in December 2017, you’ll be eligible to apply for the May 2018 Exam, regardless of earned experience.
2. Use “AICP Candidate” Designation While You Earn Experience
After passing the Certification Exam, you can use the “AICP Candidate” designation on your resume, LinkedIn profile, and anywhere else. Signal to potential employers that you’re on the path to leading the profession.
3. Enroll in the Program Anytime
You can join the program throughout the year.
4. Get a Mentor
You’ll have the opportunity to get paired with an AICP mentor to help set yourself up for career success. Hear from a fellow APA member about the career benefits of mentoring.
5. Becoming AICP
After passing the exam and obtaining the requisite work experience, you’ll be eligible for the full AICP credential — a professional achievement that offers profound and positive career impact.
