The speakers were so engaging, forthright, and informative in their presentations. They provided excellent insight into the top concerns for themselves personally and on behalf of their cities. I found the discussion about the October 1, 2017 mass shooting particularly moving and inspiring.

This session provided an excellent overview of resilience efforts from an emergency management and homeland security perspective. It also provided a clear picture of the impacts related to the 10/1/17 mass shooting and the recovery and resiliency efforts related to it. It was helpful to have a state/county/city perspective in one session.

Vision Zero Truckee Meadows: Zero Pedestrian Fatalities by 2030!
Metrics are useful in arguing for the realistic potential of these programs. Precedents are all European, but would like more examples of similar US success stories.
