APA RI members include planners at all government levels, private consultants, local planning board members, landscape architects, environmental scientists, lawyers, professors, students and other professionals dedicated to sound planning principles.

I would rate this session higher but for the somewhat difficult time I had following the discussion among the speakers. I think the moderator could have improved this. The subject matter was informative at times. The session would have been greatly improved if the speakers had provided visuals (power point, photos, etc.).

A Decade of Progress: How RI is Cooperatively Transforming Our Transit Network to Support Economic Growth and Sustainability
A very interesting session. The transit hub planned at the foot of the RI State House with the relocation of Gaspee Street and the extension of Francis Street is a horror. I can only hope that better heads will prevail and use an option that does not desecrate our beautiful State House. Otherwise, the planning for transit improvement in downtown Prov appears to be on target.
