MORE SESSION DETAILS
The principle of inclusiveness has been a foundation of the planning profession since its beginning. Engaging residents, stakeholders, community leaders, and professionals in addressing current challenges to inclusivity is of paramount importance. This session will review the evolution of this core principle and its role in planning practice up to the present, document the rapidly changing conditions that we face today (both in terms of technology and political governance), and highlight communities that have been successful in achieving inclusivity across the demographic spectrum. The panel includes both long-standing leaders of the planning profession and current practitioners with recent successful experience.
