Bike the streets of New Orleans and learn about progressive planning projects that are promoting sustainability and redefining the Crescent City. Explore diverse neighborhoods, see plenty of local landmarks, and learn about strategies planners are utilizing to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing modern New Orleans: changing infrastructure needs, stormwater management, and community revitalization. This workshop will cover 14 miles, from the convention center, to the French Quarter and City Park, and back down Bayou St. John and the Lafitte Greenway, before ending on the historic Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard.
