MORE SESSION DETAILS

Technology is fundamentally changing how we think about and engage in the practice of planning. In this fast-moving session, we will discuss 2018's four most important emerging technologies - personalization, crowdsourcing, the internet of things, and augmented reality - and explore how they are being put to use across the country by cities large and small. Learn how your agency can implement these technologies. To ensure an engaging presentation, each presenter will discuss one technology for 15 minutes: five minutes to describe the technology and 10 minutes on how the technology is being used to drive planning. The session's final 15 minutes will be devoted to questions and discussion.
