Notice to Offerors

Pursuant to ORS 279C.110 and City of Eugene Administrative Order 44-14-08F, Public Contracting Rule (City Rule) 137-048-0220, sealed qualifications for Eugene Riverfront Park Design for the City of Eugene will be accepted by the Purchasing Office, 100 West 10th Avenue, Suite 400, Eugene, Oregon 97401 until Wednesday, November 22, 2017 2:30 PM.

Qualifications will be opened immediately thereafter and a record of qualifications received will be made. Qualifications will not be accepted after the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) closing time and date. Qualifications will be evaluated per the criteria specified in this RFQ. The five firms deemed the most qualified will be placed on a short list and sent a Request for Proposal.

This RFQ does not commit the City to pay any costs incurred by any offeror in the submission of qualifications.

Project Description

The City of Eugene is requesting qualifications from consultant groups for design of Eugene's first urban riverfront park on approximately three acres of the 17-acre former Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) site on the Willamette River near downtown Eugene. The goals of this project are to work closely with a cross-section of City staff and future developers of the site to develop a finalized concept plan and investigate and initiate procurement of any and all necessary permits associated with this plan.
