Vision Together 2025, a community development corporation located in Johnstown, PA, seeks a qualified firm to write a real estate development plan. The gist of our vision is simple: integrate higher education into the fabric of downtown Johnstown and position it as an engine for economic growth, innovation, and neighborhood revitalization. We have partnered with the City of Johnstown, a major national foundation, the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, and a major local university to begin the planning process.

At a fundamental level, we seek to construct a downtown real estate development anchored by higher education uses, including housing. Programming and uses (from all sectors) are still uncertain. Therefore, fundamental elements of the plan and planning process shall include the following: site selection, programming/uses, conceptual design, finance and pro forma modeling, working closely with our steering committee, and consensus building.

Total budget is $150,000. Please submit proposals to the email provided below no later than close of business Friday, November 19th, 2021, with interviews conducted in December. Our hope is for an efficient planning process that lasts approximately 10 months.
