“Ethics Case of the Year: 2017-18” was prepared by the AICP Ethics Committee, using real-life ethical misconduct cases or inquiries from the previous year. The two panelists will present a series of ethical scenarios and then ask the audience to provide their “answers,” based on the use of the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. The topics of this year’s cases include: charitable gifts, incomplete information, plagiarism, social media, and special advantages.
