A key component of APA’s Planning Home action agenda is promoting innovations in local planning, codes, and policies. Cities are responding to housing challenges in new and important ways and this session will explore the landscape of local innovation.

The range of topics covered will include accessory dwelling units, parking standards, multifamily housing by-right development, tax abatements, novel subsidy programs, and new public engagement strategies. Attend to hear what communities are doing to make local plans and codes part of the housing solution.
