This session will address the basics of community improvement corporations and land banks and will also delve into the interplay between these two tools and political subdivisions.  This session will also discuss how to establish a CIC and what tools are available to CICs for business development and residential redevelopment. Additionally, the real estate attorney for the Montgomery County Land Bank will explain the land bank process and common questions and issues that arise.
