This portion of the workshop will focus on the basics of bike sharing. The seminar will give attendees a basic overview of bike sharing systems, information about the capital and operational costs of a bike sharing system, instruction on how to select the right system configuration for your community, and a guide on how to create realistic objectives for a bike sharing system. The presentation will conclude with dispelling common myths that people often have regarding bike share. Following the presentation, there will a panelist discussion, with an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the panelists.
