This presentation will discuss asset management principles and how asset management plans are powerful tools for communities in making capital planning decisions.  We will go over what should and should not go into an asset management plan and provide some example asset management plans and how they were implemented. Drivers for developing asset management plans and possible sources of funding that are available in developing asset management plans.
