Overview
Preserving Historic Places allows planners to use Evansville, Indiana as a learning laboratory through education sessions, plenary talks, and tours. Nationally-recognized speakers also provide best practices from around the United States. The planning-related educational objective of the conference is to demonstrate the variety of ways historic preservation may be used as a tool for the revitalization of communities of all sizes. The sessions targeted for planners are designed for an intermediate level of knowledge.
