Urban Planners and Aging Network Professionals agree that accessible transportation and travel options are central elements of a livable community. We are in a new frontier for transportation and both professions play an important role in leveraging technology to create more efficient and easier ways for individuals of any age and ability to get around. In this third annual summit which is part of the 2019 Aging in America Conference, expert panelists will focus on forward thinking programs reshaping our communities and providing long term solutions on how mobility is delivered. Participants will actively engage with multiple players in different sectors that will push our thinking on the possibilities for a new transportation reality and real options for our communities.

Describe successful models and projects in transportation that area already providing positive contributions to creating livable communities for all ages.
Describe how to facilitate collaboration between public and private partners to spur advancement in mobility alternatives locally.
