The first half hour of this program focuses on techniques and tools of the profession that incorporate environmental justice and accessibility to basic needs and services of the community related to affordable housing, transportation, jobs and access to services. 

The second half of the program provides updates toward the dramatic expansion of the historically marginalized gaming industry which has led to a proliferation of casinos in the American landscape. Casinos now draw concentrated flows of people, capital, and goods. This instructional session will provide information on immigrants introduce urban notions of density, diversity, and dynamism into the seemingly suburban fabric surrounding the casinos.
