The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is embarking on an update of its regional plan, MetroCommon 2050.  By popular demand, MAPD is presenting an in-depth program tailored to planners: one that will explore this exciting regional planning initiative and more at a level of depth the planning community will appreciate, learn from, and enjoy!

Join MAPC’s Community Engagement team for a conversation about how your local planning work relates to regional planning in Massachusetts.  We’ll dive into the intersection of issues and topics you think about in your every day, such as land use, public health, transportation, energy, and more. We’ll also discuss what resources MAPC and local planners should employ when tackling the most pressing issues facing Massachusetts and the Greater Boston region.

This program highlights AICP Continuing Education topic areas of Economic Development, Urban Design, Public Participation and Regional Planning.
