This tour kicks off at the Regional Transportation Management Center, where you will get a firsthand look at the New Orleans Regional Planning Commission’s (RPC) “home base,” also home to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Enjoy lunch in the RPC’s main conference room while learning about the local metropolitan planning organization operations, upcoming plan updates, and the role of performance measures. Then board a bus to explore City Park and view numerous projects RPC helped implement. Cap off the workshop by enjoying world-famous coffee and beignets from City Park’s Morning Call.
