Thank you, APA Ambassadors
APA and its members worldwide offer sincere thanks to last year's APA Ambassadors for their passion and commitment to sharing the value of planning and planners with youth and community leaders.
2017 APA Ambassador Diana Wilson, AICP, visited a 7th grade special education class in La Grange, Texas, to gather the students' ideas for a proposed "Park for All" playground. Students identified characteristics of a great park and discussed the health and wellness benefits of play.
Inspire the next generation of planners! Apply through January 31 to participate in the 2018 APA Ambassadors program. |

Thanks to the many planners involved, including members of the Legislative and Policy Committee and the Healthy Communities Collaborative, for their robust engagement and determined efforts to shape this document.
