Planners helped secure historically high levels of federal investment, tools, and reforms to support the reinvention of communities last year. Now it's time to put those resources into action. In 2022, we'll be advocating for strong regulatory and legislative action on three issues you've identified as key to a more equitable and resilient future: climate change, implementation of infrastructure and recovery legislation, and housing opportunity through zoning reform.

Paired with the work and input of planners at the local and regional level, continued federal action on these priorities presents an opportunity to ensure last year's landmark investments in planning make a meaningful and lasting impact on our communities.
