IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal Infrastructure Services Associate Director, under the direction of the Infrastructure Services Director is responsible for planning, directing, managing, and overseeing the technical and administrative day to day activities and operations of the Road and Bridge division and East Montana Water System. The incumbent is responsible for scheduling work to expedite flow and balance loads; assigning duties and issuing written and oral instructions; checking work for service effectiveness, quality acceptability, policy, and procedural conformance; guiding subordinates, correct errors and rectify complaints; appraising performance of direct reports.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and ten years of professional civil experience, including five (5) years of supervisory or management experience, in the design and construction of bridges, structures, and roads with diverse operations or multiple locations.
Or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certificates and Licenses Required
Must have or obtain by date of hire Texas driver's license applicable to job responsibilities, with a driving record acceptable to the County of El Paso; Possession of a valid State of Texas Professional Engineer License, or equivalent transferable from another state.
