Seeking two professional candidates to assist the Community Development Division with the administration of St. Louis County programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These programs include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) and the Emergency Solutions Grants Program (ESG). The entitlement programs focus on housing, homelessness, economic development, community facilities, public infrastructure, and public service.

Administration of these programs includes working with communities and nonprofits to develop and review applications, conducting environmental reviews, creating contracts, assisting with program compliance, processing payment requests, reviewing for compliance with Davis Bacon Labor Standards, collecting data, monitoring projects through completion, program financial management, and representing the County at meetings.

The focus of the Planner positions will be working with community facilities, public infrastructure, and public service agencies within the CDBG and ESG programs and implementation and oversight of Davis Bacon Labor Standards compliance, and other duties based upon assigned functional area.

Minimum Requirements (Pass/Fail):

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
