Solar Energy

This comprehensive plan includes goals, policies, and actions to reduce nonrenewable energy resource consumption by supporting renewable energy technologies and passive solar design principles in new development (Goal SUS-5, Policy SUS-5.2, Actions SUS-5.2.1 - 4).

It also allows for solar arrays in agricultural buffers (Policy LU-2.6) and encourages energy efficient resources in new and existing housing stock (Goal H.7, Actions H.7.1.1 - 3).
