This county code provides standards for the location, design, construction, maintenance and use of on-site wastewater systems, and the removal and disposal of materials from such facilities within the legal boundaries of Kearny County. It acknowledges the fact that sewage is a potential source of disease and water pollution, and a hazard to health, safety, and welfare of the public.
